HYDEA, a project supported by Interreg Atlantic Area, has launched its first call to support the development and testing of pre-commercial hydrogen-based technologies.

This initiative aims to assist researchers, startups, and innovators in advancing new concepts by providing access to experimental facilities and technical expertise from HYDEA project partners:

Spain: Centro Tecnolóxico de Eficiencia e Sostenibilidade Energylab (ELAB); Autoridad Portuaria de Vigo (APV); HIVE Hydrogen (HIVE)

Portugal: Universidade do Porto (UPorto); Administração dos Portos do Douro, Leixões e Viana do Castelo (APDL)

France: France Energies Marines (FEM); Autoridad Portuaria de Sevilla (APS); Évolution Synergetique Automotive (EVO)
Ireland: National University of Ireland, Galway (NUI)

The call targets solutions with strong scientific merit, technological feasibility, and market potential, prioritising those suited for integration into port environments. An independent panel of experts and project representatives will review applications.

Deadline for applications: 31 July 2025
