The Interreg Atlantic Area Programme launchs its Fourth Call for Projects on 1st September 2026. Applications may be submitted until 30th October 2026 (13:00 PM, Lisbon Time).
This targeted call focuses on capitalisation, scaling-up, transfer, and governance. Its objective is to accelerate the uptake and transfer of existing knowledge, solutions, and good practices across the Atlantic Area while delivering tangible policy impact before the end of the current Programme period.
Projects funded under this call should build on proven results and be implemented swiftly and efficiently. Partnerships are therefore expected to bring together organisations with demonstrated expertise, a strong track record in cooperation projects, and solid experience in Programme management and implementation.
Applications must address one of the Programme's four priorities:
Priority 1 – Blue innovation and competitiveness;
Priority 2 – Blue/Green environment;
Priority 3 – m Blue sustainable and social tourism & culture;
Priority 4 – A better governance for cooperation.
Projects may have a maximum duration of 24 months, although shorter implementation periods may be required to align with the Programme's overall timeline.
Interreg Atlantic Area will co-finance approved projects at a rate of up to 75% of eligible costs. The requested ERDF contribution must range between EUR 0.4 million and EUR 0.8 million.
Eligible partnerships must include organisations from the Programme's four participating countries: France, Ireland, Portugal, and Spain.
