On 29th October, the lead partner of CLIRAQUA, CICA, the Interdisciplinary Centre for Chemistry and Biology of Coruña University, hosted the project's kick-off meeting.

The first meeting of the partners covering all Member-States of the Interreg Atlantic Area programme – Spain, France, Ireland, and Portugal – allowed to plan the activities for the upcoming months, focusing on a digital repository with climate projections, interactive vulnerability maps, adaptive management protocols and an early warning system for diseases.

The main challenge of the project lies in addressing the complex and interconnected impacts of climate change on Atlantic aquaculture systems.
