The Interreg Atlantic Area Programme, together with the GRAAL Project, is working towards the creation of an Atlantic Youth Platform — a space where young people can share ideas, collaborate, and develop projects that support the growth of Europe’s Atlantic regions.

As part of this effort, the Young Voices for the Atlantic survey has been launched to gather insights from people aged 18 to 30 living in France, Ireland, Portugal, and Spain.

To explore the survey results and gather further input from young people in France, Cerema, the lead partner of the GRAAL Project, in partnership with Océanopolis, promotes a Youth Open Policy Lab in Brest. The event starts with a tour to the 70.8 - Musée pour l'Océan and a discussion on new maritime challenges, threats to the environment and opportunities for transition. It will also include a workshop in WAM Capucins to set up recommendations for the future Atlantic Youth Platform.

This interactive session will also celebrate Europe Day, held annually on May 9, marking the anniversary of the Schuman Declaration and promoting unity and cooperation across Europe.
