The 13 transnational programmes for European cooperation, including Interreg Atlantic Area, present the stand, ‘Transnational cooperation: building solidarity, driving synergies & delivering change’, at the European Week of Regions and Cities. The exhibition takes place at the Square Brussels – Grand Hall 2, in 14 and 15 October, from 9:30 to 18:00 CET.

It intends to be a meeting point for the representatives of the transnational programmes and our partners or potential partners. Promoters will highlight the added value of transnational cooperation through 3 key messages: building solidarity beyond borders, achieving synergies for the benefit of territories and delivering change to support the green and digital transition.

The stand is the result of a group work begun last year in preparation for the next Multiannual Financial Framework, which was reflected in the presentation of the transnational advocacy roadmap . It showcases examples of the use of European funds, supported by the 13 European transnational cooperation programmes, and highlights achievements of the investments made in partnership by partners from three or more Member States.

The next step was to set up the exhibition 'Through the Youth Lens: Stories of Transnational Cooperation' at the European Parliament, in Brussels, from the 24th to the 27th of June. It was promoted by young voices from Interreg Volunteer Youth across Europe – including the Interreg Atlantic Area.
