The European Commission launched a new call to provide financial support for the production and dissemination of information and content linked to EU Cohesion policy, including the Just Transition Fund, or the Technical Support Instrument.
Media outlets, universities, and other entities committed to create independent content on Cohesion policy can apply to the call. Projects should normally be 12 months, and different activities can be supported like:
- production and distribution of print;
- multimedia or audiovisual material;
- web and social media outreach activities;
- media events;
- conferences, seminars, workshops.
Potential beneficiaries can apply by 15 January 2026. The proposals should illustrate and assess the role of Cohesion policy in delivering the EU’s political priorities , such us i) the transition to a greener more digital economy, ii) development of strategic technologies, iii) housing or the demographic transition and the right to stay, and in iv) addressing current and future challenges for the EU, its Member States, its regions and the local level.
