The SMARTDEC project, led by Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique and supported by Interreg Atlantic Area, promotes the workshop “Navigating the Green Transition”, on 23 September 2025 at the Port of Brussels, from 16:00 to 17:30 CET. The event is followed by a guided boat visit of the port and is driven by the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions, a partner of the project.
Organised in collaboration with the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions, this session will bring together representatives from the shipping sector and European institutions to explore the future of sustainable maritime transport in the Atlantic Area. The agenda features inspiring examples of green innovation from across coastal regions, along with interactive co-creation activities designed to feed into EU strategies and flagship actions.
Following the workshop, participants are invited to join a guided boat tour of the Port of Brussels.
Through SMARTDEC, partners aim to provide knowledge, tools, and collaborative structures to accelerate the reduction of pollution from waterborne transport across the Atlantic.
