These resources offer significant insights into the latest advancements in food technologies and Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) competencies available throughout the Atlantic region.
From cutting-edge food processing techniques to the incorporation of sustainable ingredients, the Hub4Food maps underscore the Atlantic Area’s considerable potential for innovation within the food sector. Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) across the region can now readily access technologies and expertise specifically tailored to their business requirements, thereby enhancing product development and sustainability.

What is Hub4Food?
Hub4Food is a transnational project aimed at transforming the Atlantic food industry by strengthening connections among research organisations, agrifood clusters, and businesses. With a strong emphasis on market-driven innovation, the project intends to:
- Develop a program that validates new technologies based on market demands.
- Facilitate collaboration between research institutions and SMEs.
- Offer support services that assist food companies in overcoming technological and innovation-related challenges.
- Advocate for sustainability and the utilisation of marine resources to foster a more competitive and eco-friendly food sector.
