Hub4Food, a project supported by Interreg Atlantic Area, is assisting 12 pilots proposed by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the agri-food sector through applied innovation and cross-border collaboration.

These pilot projects, each led by an SME and supported by a Hub4Food technology centre, aim to address specific innovation challenges in product development, nutrition, sustainability, and processing efficiency. Most pilots are expected to start in September 2025, with individual work plans tailored to each partnership.

Covering Portugal, Spain, France, and Ireland, the selected projects showcase the increasing importance of marine-based ingredients and technology in shaping the future of food.
