The ENEPORTS project, co-financed by the Interreg Atlantic Area Programme, has been recognised during the Noite da Enerxía, held as part of #EnergyDays2026, for its contribution to developing more sustainable, efficient and energy-autonomous ports.

The award, presented by Cluergal-Cluster of Renewable Energies of Galicia, acknowledges the project's efforts to support ports in their energy transition through the integration of digitalisation, artificial intelligence and renewable energy solutions.

Led by Fundación Instituto Tecnológico de Galicia, the ENEPORTS partnership brings together organisations from across the Atlantic Area, including BUILDERS École d’Ingénieurs, Port Authority of Ferrol-San Cibrao, Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Puertos de Tenerife, ITER-Instituto Tecnológico y de Energías Renovables, University of Galway, and APDL-Administração dos Portos do Douro, Leixões and Viana do Castelo. Together, they are developing innovative approaches to accelerate the decarbonisation of the port sector and strengthen energy sustainability in Atlantic ports.

The Interreg Atlantic Area Programme congratulates the entire ENEPORTS consortium on this achievement and thanks all partners for their continued commitment to innovation and cooperation.
