The ATLIC project launched ATLIC BLUE TALKS, a new podcast series to highlight initiatives, ideas, and personal stories that help shape a more sustainable and inclusive Blue Economy across the Atlantic Area.

Each episode examines the efforts of young individuals driving innovation and transformation within their local communities. By sharing their experiences, BLUE TALKS showcases emerging leaders and initiatives that are shaping the future of our ocean.

The inaugural episode features Marta Vázquez Fernández, founder of Nixara at Vida Láctea in Galicia, Spain, and Ana Rita Vieira, an enabler at the Blue Economy Labs in Santo Tirso, Portugal. The discussion focuses on how innovation, community action, and youth leadership play a central role in transitioning to a more resilient and sustainable maritime economy. Through their voices, listeners can understand the challenges and opportunities of working in the blue sector, as well as the importance of empowering new generations to lead change.

This podcast is co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg Atlantic Area Programme as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting cooperation and sustainable development across Atlantic regions.
