AQUAFISH0.0, a project supported by Interreg Atlantic Area, will take part in the EU Green Week 2025 Stakeholders’ Day, taking place on 5 June in Brussels. This year’s theme – Circular solutions for a competitive Europe – aligns with the project mission: using marine resources more wisely and reducing food waste through innovation.

The EU project promotes a zero-waste approach to marine food production by transforming discarded parts of fish into sustainable and high-quality products, such as sustainable seafood burgers.

The Stakeholders’ Day is part of the broader EU Green Week (3–5 June), which this year brings together the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ECESP), the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI), and the European Commission, to explore how circularity can improve Europe’s competitiveness.

The event, hosted at the European Commission’s Charlemagne Building in Brussels, will be characterised by a full day of exhibitions and discussions showcasing business models and initiatives in the circular economy across Europe.

Webinar Circular Solutions powered by Cooperation
Under the theme Circular solutions for a competitive Europe, the Interact Programme promotes a webinar on the 11th of June, to explore how European territorial cooperation contributes to making the European economy cleaner, more competitive, and more circular, drawing from years of Interreg experience under both Greener Europe and Smarter Europe policy objectives.
