The ADT4Blue project, supported by Interreg Atlantic Area, has selected 30 innovative entrepreneurs and companies focused on the Blue Economy to benefit from a comprehensive support programme. Participants will receive tailored training, personalised mentorship from industry experts, and strategic guidance on business model development and market entry.

The selected beneficiaries operate across key sectors of the Blue Economy, including:
• Ocean Literacy
• Port Activities, Shipping & Repair
• Ocean Monitoring
• Conservation and Marine Ecosystem Protection
• Communication
• Ocean Renewable Energies
• Aquaculture and Fisheries

Aligned with the project’s aim to enhance the use of Advanced Digital Technologies (ADT) such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and the Internet of Things in the Atlantic Region, these beneficiaries are developing solutions to tackle real-World challenges faced by Blue Economy stakeholders based in Portugal, Ireland, and the Atlantic coast of France and Spain.

The results of this targeted mentorship programme will be showcased in October at a final event in Aveiro, Portugal, highlighting the impact of ADT-driven innovations on the sustainable development of the Atlantic Blue Economy.

The programme also includes the contribution of experts from several domains, who have enrolled in the Mentoring Programme, and key Blue Economy organisations that will provide essential insights into the European Blue Economy ecosystem through a series of online networking events.

In total, the ADT4Blue Programmes are now supporting 60 new ventures that help promote the twin transition while addressing some of the most pressing challenges faced by the Blue Economy in the Atlantic Area.
