Summary
The fishing industry in the Atlantic is facing a decline, and FISHINN wants to help by making local fisheries more competitive and strong. They plan to do this by bringing local people and groups together to work better and come up with new ideas. By sharing knowledge and using new technology, they hope to create smart, circular, and more efficient solutions to turn things around for the fisheries.

FISHINN has a plan for four different fishing areas:

  1. Find out the problems and opportunities, by talking to everyone involved to figure out the needs and opportunities to help;

  2. Look at solutions that have worked in other places, checking out what has already been done in Europe to solve similar problems;

  3. Make a plan for innovation, creating a roadmap to bring in new ideas and make the local fishing industry stronger.

  4. Help other local fisheries, sharing good solutions with other places facing similar issues in the Atlantic Area.
