Interreg Atlantic Area participated at the European Maritime Day 2017, this year under the theme “The Future of our Seas”. The programme was part of the "Knowledge of the Seas Network” exhibition stand, toghether with other several maritime funding programmes and stakeholders  - Central Baltic, France Channel England, Ireland Wales, South Baltic, Interreg 2Seas, Interact and the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions - to promote the funding opportunities to invest in maritime cooperation across borders.

The European Maritime Day is an annual event where Europe’s community of maritime professionals come together to exchange knowledge and forge partnerships.

These two days event include a plenary and thematic sessions, workshops, B2B meetings and an exhibition stand.
