• To safeguard tangible cultural heritage and its associated intangible expressions in small and medium historic cities
• To establish sustainable strategies for protecting and managing cultural heritage in small and medium size historic cities in a time of crisis.
• To provide on-line tools that allows local governments to analysis the weathering degree of monuments in their cities, with a minor training. This analysis will be carried in at least 6 cities and 4 regions basin in collaboration with stake-holder in order to validate the tools for different contexts.
• To promote creative changes in the contemporary local government to carry out plans of restoration
• To motivate and to provide a framework for a long-term cooperation between local governments with national and regional systems, development agencies and SMEs and entities involved in valorisation/restoration/research of cultural heritage and in tourism.
• To provide an Interregional network for cultural heritage protection and related stakeholders to exchange experiences, expertise and best practices
